PIR module, 4.7 to 12V DC voltage, 5m sensing range, 60° detection angle, 5V DC output voltage, -20 to +50°C, A low cost passive infrared module in a package measuring just 25 x 35mm, features a ball lens with a viewing angle of 60° and a viewing range of 5m, high sensitivity, three-lead connection, designed for indoor use only.
High sensitivity
RFI noise immunity exceeds 30V/m from 1MHz to 1000MHz
Q. Is the output high or low when triggered?
Is the output open collector or push-pull?
A. Hi Ian, thanks for your question. The logic is high 5v when activated, but it is not intended to drive a load. You need to use a transistor for switching purposes.
Q. Does this sensor have circuitry to prevent it triggering during daylight hours?
A. No this is just a PIR sensor so it will only detect movement. It's not set up with a LDR sensor, this would have to be added to the circuit design as a extra sensor to allow it to only work in darkness .
