This Antex Model M miniature soldering iron has a heat-proof silicone mains cable, ideal for use in education. It has a 12W heating element and is ideal for small soldering applications where too much heat could cause damage to components.

A well-made tool (which you would expect from Antex), and very comfortable to handle. The fine pointed tip is ideal for delicate work on printed circuit boards. The only disappointment is the flimsy stand provided, it's too light to be of any use. Better to buy the proper stand also available from Antex.
