The Anvil hot melt glue gun is an improved design glue gun suitable for industrial or educational use providing a trouble-free supply of tough adhesive. The gun has an electronically controlled heating element which melts the solid glue sticks inserted into the back of the gun.

Suitable 11mm glue sticks, 100mm long are available separately in packs of 12 (87-0405)
For higher volume use, 300mm long sticks are available in 1kg packs of approx. 30 sticks (87-0410)

As a personal one to one tool this ticks all the boxes and is great for the price. BUT as an educational tool in the classroom it falls well short . Heating time is too long, lessons can be halfway through before the guns get hot enough, if not destroyed by pupils being impatient not allowing the gun to heat up,pressing the trigger and splitting the gun in half glue every where and damaged element. Better a 40watts element gun.
