High quality quad digit super bright red LED display from Kingbright that are available in a variety of colours and with either a floating decimal point or a fixed decimal point/colon. These devices are ideally suited to applications that require readouts of time or varying integers.

Q. The datasheet for this component doesn't fully explain how to drive it. How do you drive this display?
A. Hi Adam. Thank you for your question. The displays with more than one digit within the same block are intended to be driven in a multiplexed mode. You would need a microcontroller to drive this display. Multiplexing reduces the number of control lines.
