The
Designer Systems 18 channel servo driver shield is compatible with the Arduino range and the Raspberry Pi. A variety of servos can be driven with this shield as it provides a wide range of pulse widths from 0.5ms to 2.5ms and 8µs per step accuracy. Once connected each servo can be positioned (with speed control), enabled, reversed and soft-started by writing a value to an internal register over the I2C interface. It communicates with the Arduino or the Raspberry Pi over I2C and four shields can be used on one bus allowing up to 72 servos to be controlled at once. Applications include
multi-legged robots, animatronics and process and sensor manipulation when used with standard RC servos. We supply a wide range of boards, shields and accessories for the
