The locking ratchet mechanism in this clever device gives easy access to hanging baskets for watering and maintenance.

To lower the basket, lift it slightly, then lower it to the desired height. To raise the basket, pull it down slightly, then raise it to the desired height. Lowering slightly locks the mechanism again.
