This compact, fast response electrochemical sensor is designed to detect carbon monoxide gas. The sensor has a very low consumption and is capable of being battery operated, making it ideal for use in hand-held detectors. The sensor has low sensitivity to interferent gases and there is no risk of electrolyte leakage. There is a linear relationship between CO gas concentration and sensor output and the sensor has high repeatability and accuracy. Typical applications include residential and commercial co detectors, CO monitors for industrial applications, ventilation control for indoor parking garages, fire detection, etc.
