IP66 Type 4X Stainless Steel Junction Box Hinged Door Q-Turn Latch

<p>The <strong>Hammond Eclipse Junior Range of Stainless Steel Junction Boxes</strong> are designed for use as instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures. </p><p>They provide watertight protection to IEC 60529, IP66, where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise become very wet and also provide protection in specific applications where corrosion may be a problem.</p><p>The body and front panel/door of the enclosures are formed from 16 gauge (1.6mm), 304 stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.<br> The enclosures are designed to be used with a removable inner panel, which is formed from 14 gauge (2mm) thick, unpainted galvanised steel. Welded, tapped mounting studs are provided to enable fitting of the supplied internal mounting panel.<br>Enclosures have smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cut-outs or holes and have a formed lip, designed to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. <br>Continuous stainless steel hinges allow 180&deg; opening, for ease of access. <br>The enclosure doors have a seamless poured-in place gasket and are secured with a quarter turn slot latch which can only be opened with a tool, for added safety. <br><br> A bonding stud is provided on the inside of the doors and a grounding stud is provided on the inside top of the enclosures, together with the necessary grounding hardware.<br>14 gauge welded rear mounting brackets and associated mounting hardware are also provided.</p>
