K'Nex 78976 Renewable Energy

The K'Nex 78976 Renewable Energy Set allows students to compare and contrast the power and efficiency that can be realised from wind, solar and water powered machines. Students generate electricity to operate their models as they experiment with renewable energy systems.

The set makes 9 different models, up to 3 at a time, and contains 550 parts, sufficient for 6 to 12 students. It contains 1x 1.38V, 500mA solar panel, 3x motors and power cords, and 1x capacitor for energy storage.
