This module kit senses the presence of an approaching body at a distance of 10 to 80cm (depending on the size of the body), and lights an LED.
- Uses include: parking assistance for cars and alarm sensors
- The device uses the same principle as the ultrasonic echo ranging of bats
- Kemo type B214
Requires assembly. This kit may be extended to relay operation with relay board 70-1404 (not included).

Q. Hi. I would like to use this sensor inside a waterproof box. Will it be able to see through the walls of the plastic box?

A. Hi Rob, thank you for your question. This will not work unless the sensors are exposed. We have some underwater versions you may consider as an alternative.
