18 June 2019 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 87-0432
Q. will it bond aluminium to aluminium
A. Hi Charles, thank you for your question. The manufacturer states "ideal for laminated plastics (Formica, Perstorp, Duropal, Resopal etc.), board, veneer and plastic edging strips, rubber, foam-rubber, leather, linoleum, felt and cork to wood, chipboard, concrete, stone and metals". Aluminium is not specifically mentioned but this would come under general metals.

12 June 2016 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 87-0432
Q. Can Bison Kit can be used to bond Metal to Glass
A. Hi F, thank you for your question. The manufacturer does not mention glass in the list but this version is designed for glass to metal bonding so would be a better suggestion.

22 January 2016 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 87-0432
Q. Can bison kit be used to bond rubber to varnished wood? Will it melt the varnish?
A. Hi John, thank you for your question. The adhesive is solvent based so it may attack the varnish. However, this will not be seen under the rubber that will be stuck to it.

The Best of the Bunch

I have used many Contact Adhesives in my years of practical work but I find this the best and the strongest. The added bonus of the Bison Kit is it can be used to bond materials without using it as a Contact Adhesive; simply apply, put the parts together and leave( the longer the better ).
