<P>A sturdy soldering iron stand for use with the soldering hand-piece fitted on Metcal PS Series soldering systems.</P><P>The stand incorporates an 'Auto Sleep' insert that helps increase tip life by allowing the tip, or cartridge, to idle at a lower temperature, thereby reducing oxidisation.</P><P>Replacement circular sponges are available separately.</P>
  • Stand also contains a brass wire-wool cleaning pad for removing heavy oxidisation
