Metcal WS2 Auto Sleeper Workstand
Brand: MetcalA sturdy soldering iron stand for use with the soldering hand-piece fitted on Metcal PS Series soldering systems.
The stand incorporates an 'Auto Sleep' insert that helps increase tip life by allowing the tip, or cartridge, to idle at a lower temperature, thereby reducing oxidisation.
Replacement circular sponges are available separately.
- Stand also contains a brass wire-wool cleaning pad for removing heavy oxidisation
- 'Auto sleep' function with very fast recovery - does not turn off the iron
