Q. Hi - you recommend the tubes 52-1903 for use with this centrifuge. Do these tubes have a lip? They will need a lip otherwise they will throw straight out of the centrifuge. Please could you confirm that these tubes have a lip. Thanks
A. Hi Robin, thank you for your question. These do not have a lip but the tubes are designed to be place in the buckets on the centrifuge.

Q. Hi, are there any particular health and safety guidelines when operating this item, we are sourcing for a client who may need to be made aware of best use considerations etc.
A. Hi P Taylor. Thank you for your question. There are no particular H & S considerations associated with this - it's a low tech hand operated product - turn the handle and the top spins.

Friday, May 10, 2013 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 06-6900
Q. Hi, can you buy spare parts for this centrifuge and can you supply instructions as non are in the box. Thanks Pete
A. Hi Peter. Thank you for your question. We are unable to get hold of spare parts for the unit as we get them from the far east. No instructions are supplied as it is fairly obvious of how to use the product, just turn the handle etc.

This little centrifuge is perfect for occasional use and small samples. Our only word of advice/caution is make sure you do not clamp it on to your best work surface as it needs to be tightly clamped and can damage the surface as it did in our lab.
