The Apollo 500+ from Seaward performs all the functions of the Apollo 400+ - and more besides. In addition to PAT testing, the Apollo 500+ can be configured to record tests and inspections of non-electrical appliances such as ladders, safety doors and first aid kits. It is ideal for use in education facilities with a mid to high volume testing requirement.

The Apollo 500+ features a comprehensive range of electrical safety tests to ensure compliance with the IET 4th Edition Code of Practice. Data management is easy using remote data transfer and USB upload/download and a memory stores up to 10,000 complete test sets.

Despite its large suite of functions the Apollo 500+ is surprisingly small, and sits comfortably in the hands while testing. It is fully suitable for use in performing earth continuity testing, 3 phase testing, point to point testing on fixed appliances, RCD testing and suitable for use on IT equipment, the tester also performs other common required PAT testing procedures such as insulation resistance, IEC lead testing, protective conductor current/load, touch current, load power/current, alternative leakage current and power socket testing with just a few button presses.

It has a full QWERTY keypad integrated directly into the device, five function buttons for easy access to the various functions of the device and a large size high definition colour display makes it easy to perform and track all tests (as well as reviewing stored information).

Overall, the Apollo 500 is a great value plug and play PAT tester with a comprehensive range of tests and advanced data transfer and storage features.

You can streamline the testing process further by adding a compatible label printer and barcode scanner. These are available as part of the Apollo 500+ Pro Kit (available as Rapid part 90-4375) and Apollo 500+ Elite Kit (available as Rapid part 90-4376). PATGuard 3 software is also available separately.

The Apollo+ range represents a step up from other portable testers with improved functionality and a range of accessories, including an interchangeable external rechargeable battery pack.
