Six Indian Stick Insects

Raise up to six Indian Stick Insects (Carausius morosus) from tiny eggs.

They like to play 'Hide-and-seek' by pretending to be a branch swaying in the wind. Feed them on fresh bramble, privet or ivy. Watch them moult their skins as they grow!

• When they hatch, your stick insects will need a container that will allow enough space for them to hang from a twig or leaves so they can shed their skins as they grow
