Q. How does the solar charging bit work and how effective is it?
A. Hi Anne. Thank you for your question. The unit has a solar panel built in to the top of the unit which will charge the battery, the more sunlight it is exposed to the more effective it will be. The manufacturer claims approximately a one hour charge provides approximately 30 minutes of radio usage.
