This photoelectric sensor is a general purpose sensor from the XUBxB Design 18 range. This industry leading sensor is a high quality device that features a design and build that make it ideal for use in industrial applications.

The multimode sensor has the facility to automatically change its operating configuration according to the required application, at just a press of the teach button. The sensor can operate in one of four modes:

IR Thru-beam
IR Diffuse
IR Diffuse with background suppression
Polarised reflex

The thru-beam mode will require the IT Thru-Beam Transmitter (65-8572), and to use the polarised reflex mode a suitable reflector is required.
