Q. Hi, Does this timer suitable for Slow Cooker?
A. Hi Brian. Thank you for your question. This time is suitable for all electrical appliances as long as the particular slow cooker plugs into a standard 13A socket, this time should be fine.

Q. I need a timer which I can turn on manually but which will turn off automatically at a preset time. Is it possible to set an off time without setting an on time, and then use the override function to turn it on manually?
A. Hi Duncan. Thank you for your question. This is achievable by utilising the countdown function as shown in option 10 in the data sheet. Friday, December 14, 2012 | Question by: Rapid Customer

Q. I run a small store where we have chillers for beer and soft drinks. Is this timer suitable to use with this type of machines. Have tried two different types of timers already and they only lasted a week before they packed in.
A. Hi Sinky. Thank you for your question. I can see no reason why not provided you are not trying to draw more than 13A at start up in total – this may be affected by the number of machines connected to each one.

Q. Hi,
I need a timer that will go on and off 16 times a day, seven days a week with a maximum on time of 1 minute, would this timer be the one?
A. Hi Mr Drew. Thank you for your question. This is the best option we can offer - these have a minimum of 1 minute setting so would be the best option.

Q. I have a heating system connected to a RCB. I have tried a manual time switch but that knocks out the RCB. Will this one work with a RCB or do you do RCBs with timers
A. Hi Peter, thanks for your question. If you are getting premature tripping then it may indicate a suspect RCB, although some RCBs are more sensitive than others. Without having the means to test this we would be unable to know for sure. It might be worth getting an electrician to fit a timer that is RCB friendly.
