Compact low cost cadmium sulphide light dependent resistor (LDR) housed in a small package.

Consists of a resistor which is made of semiconductor material whose conductance changes with variations in luminance.

Typical applications include camera automatic photometry, photoelectric control, lighting control, annunciators, industrial control, light control switches and electronic toys.

A. Hi James, thanks for your question. There is no minimum voltage - an LDR is just a resistance that changes with light.

Smaller (and therefore cheaper) but perfectly adequate to use for KS4 electrical components. Fit in small ABS boxes with plastic insert. able to compare R for full light/dark/1/2 light
