Q. WHAT IS THE RESOLUTION OF 84-4085 METER ON 400mV range

Accurate and well built
Reviewed by: Mr Gordon Ritchie - Thursday, July 28, 2016For the price it was the best value 5½ digit bench multimeter. I purchased it to measure millivolts to 2 decimal places. It does that fine with the 400 mV setting to an accuracy of 0.025% of the voltage you are measuring plus 5 resolution counts. But the 4V ac true RMS setting is considerably less accurate. They quote 0.4% + 30 resolution points which is 0.4%+0.3mV. It was just slightly less accurate than that a low voltage. But once you get to know what it can do it is wonderful. The RMS takes a while to calculate and settle. It is a serious piece of kit. Would definitely recommend it. They say that the do not include alligator leads due to some EU regulation. I look forward to not have to obey those in the near future.
