The Voltcraft FM-300 Wood Humidity Meter is a highly sophisticated instrument. Using its internal database of wood characteristics the moisture content as a percentage of volume can be measured for most European wood types. A pair of probe pins are used for measuring, which are held on or inserted into the material being tested. Alternatively, measurements with automatic temperature correction (ATC) are possible using the attached thermal probe . This probe is also useful for wood temperature measurements. To maintain the unit's accuracy the protective cap contains an integrated calibration tester. When the device is not in use the protective cap must always be snapped on. The unit is supplied with 2 AAA batteries, a protective cover and 10 replacement tips. We supply a wide range of specialist measuring devices.
