The LF-855D Multi-Function SMD Rework Station effectively combines the
features of the Xytronic LF-3000 90W Soldering Station, 85-6730, and the
Xytronic LF-852D, 85-1225, into one convenient unit.
The soldering section of the Xytronic LF-855D Rework Station uses an
intelligent microcomputer coupled to a temperature sensor, fitted inside the
actual soldering tip, for fast and accurate tip temperature measurement. The
high output power of 90W is adequate to meet the present and future needs of
lead-free soldering in the electronics production industry.
The LF-855D's hot air SMD section also has a built-in intelligent
microcomputer chip and is specially designed for rework of lead-free SMD chips
such as SOIC, CHIP, QFP, PLCC, BGA, etc.
Soldering section:
Power output 90W for superior heat output and fast recovery
Password controlled temperature lock for supervisors
Automatic shutdown should temperature sensor fail
Energy saver sleep mode after 20 minutes inactivity
ESD safe, spike-free circuit for safe use on electro-sensitive components
Earth socket for grounding wrist straps, etc.
Suitable tips are available separately
Hot air section:
Displays temperature and airflow
Push-button control for temperature and airflow
Fast warm-up time
Static-free circuit for safe useage on CMOS ICs
Auto-cooling: the pump runs for a while after the unit is switched off
Automatic over-temperature safety cut-out
