The A28-400-F24-G uses the high performance 4.3hp A28-400-F24 motor and is also fitted with a 8.3:1 reduction chain drive gearbox. These strong gearboxes give a huge amount of torque which is ideal for heavy duty robotics, motorised vehicles and automation applications.

The motor itself uses rare-earth neodymium magnets and with a nominal voltage of 24V produces a peak power of 4.3hp. They are fitted with a fan and are drilled with vent holes to allow flow-through cooling which allows longer duty cycles and even higher power outputs.

The motor and gearbox assembly can be mounted on a plate up to 10mm thick using the four 1/4-20 thread screws supplied.

Replacement brushes are available separately.

Q. Was looking at your Ampflow A28-400-F24 3inch motor and gearbox 37-0283 When I open up the pdf on the tech spec the drawing shows the motor without gearbox.? I need a drawing with the gearbox dims so I can work out how it will fit into our housing. A. Hi Eric, thank you for your question. Please see here for the drawing. Please note that this drawing does not show the fan on the back of the motor, however the other dimensions are the same.
