This thermo detector from Bosch is an ideal companion for the professional tradesman looking to detect thermal bridges and mould risk areas. The detector has been manufactured to a high standard and is equipped with a host of excellent features, including the one-touch button, which analyses poorly insulated windows or locates uninsulated areas on exterior walls.
Depending on the mode, the PTD 1 measures room temperature, surface temperature of walls/objects and humidity, before interpreting the data. This is performed by means of three sensors and Bosch-developed software. Using a traffic light system, the three-colour LED provides a clear recommended course of action.
