Q. Are these inks ready to use in plain water? Or does the water need any additives? Does the paper require pre-treatment with alum (as some marbling techniques require)? Thank you
A. Hi Vanessa, thank you for your question. The ink is just used with simple water and no adhesives are needed. The paper or any other product material do not need any pre-treatment.

Q. Hi, Are these suitable for dipping white candles in to create a marble effect? i.e does this liquid float on water?
A. Hi Dave, thank you for your question. The supplier has said: "The marbling inks are oil based and do float on water, never heard of anyone using them on candles, it's usually acrylic paint they use. It's actually designed to soak into porous surfaces so it may work."
