Q. Can the 12V version run from a standard school lab PSU if two 4mm plugs are fitted to the end?
A. Hi S Arnott. Thank you for your question. This is possible in principle if the PSU is set to a reliable 12V and is capable of 1.5A. The irons are usually AC operated but can be run on DC.
