The Labfacility L60+ Thermocouple Welder is a compact, simple-to-use instrument for welding thermocouples and other fine wires.
The L60+ is primarily designed for producing commercial-grade thermocouple junctions and is ideal for economic production of large numbers of exposed-junction thermocouples for test and development laboratories. It is also ideally suited to attaching transducer and RTD extension leads.
The Thermocouple Welder does not need specialised skills and most people are capable of producing quality work with only a little practice. The instrument is supplied with a full range of accessories including a footswitch, which leaves the hands free for accurately manipulating wires. The L60+ is suitable for use with wires of up to 1.1mm diameter and the energy output can be varied up to 60 Joules. Completely satisfactory thermocouple junctions can be produced without the need for argon, but an argon gas shield facility is included for use where Argon is readily available.
