The CamdenBoss Rechargeable Battery PJ996 is a sealed lead acid battery supplied in PJ996 style (lantern battery) cases. This design now incorporates a protection device in the form of a self resetting fuse. This device now protects the battery (and the equipment it is installed in) by disconnecting the battery in the event of a short circuit or unusually high current drain.

Q. is the charger a separate item or is the battery and charger classed as one item. used in a lantern how long would a single charge last in constant use. thanks
A. Hi Martin. Thank you for your question. This is just the battery, the charger is 18-4602. You can probably expect the battery to last approximately 10 hours.

Very strong and when charged lasts a very long time in my torch normal batteries only last 2 weeks max
