The new Fluke 381 true-RMS AC/DC clamp meter lets you remove the display for extra flexibility, allowing one technician to do jobs that used to require two. Clamp the Fluke 381 around a conductor, remove the display module and walk across the room to operate controls or remove protective equipment, all while watching real-time readings. Wireless technology allows the display module to be carried up to 10m away from the point of measurement without interfering with measurement accuracy and its magnetic back allows it to be conveniently positioned. When using the wireles facility it automatically sets the correct measurement range so you do not need to change the switch positions while taking a measurement. The new iFlex flexible current probe (included in delivery) expands the measurement range to 2500A AC while providing the ability to measure awkward sized conductors and improved wire access. The 381 has an integrated low pass filter and state of the art signal processing allowing it to be used in noisy electromagnetic environments and still provide stable readings. The inrush measurement technology developed by Fluke filters out noise and accurately captures starting current as it views the circuit protection. Its ergonomic design fits comfortably in your hand and can be used easily while wearing protective equipment.
