In the 701K-G kit is the 200EP-G Tone Tracing Probe that provides the ability to check voltage on wire pairs as well as generate a tagging tone along the wire which is then picked up by the tracing probe. Its features include overall improved internal circuitry in both the amplifier and the tone generator, an LED headlight, a headset jack, short circuit beeper and external warble select.

Also included in the 701K-G kit is the 77HP-G High Power Tone Generator. This generator indicates a one or two line telephone service, voltage polarity indication and checks for short circuits and continuity with a light and an audible beep.
