Steel chassis with locking blade wheel covers. Smooth operation by bearing mounted blade wheels and belt drive induction motors. Micro switches prevent operation when either blade wheel cover is open. No-volt release switches prevent uncontrolled blade re-start after power interruption. Suitable for cutting wood and plastics. Fitted with tilting tables for cutting compound mitres. Fully adjustable blade tracking and tensioning for precise cutting action. Q. Hi. I need a bench mounted band saw to make variously shaped items from teen and aluminium plate, typically motorcycle engine mounting plates etc. Max material thickness approx 6mm-7mm. Will the SM1303 machine be suitable and which blade will be required? Regards Rob
A. Hi Rob, thanks for your question. This machine would be able to cut a maximum 80 mm dependent on the type of cut. Typically either a 10 TPI 89-4976 or 14 TPI 89-4977 blade would be ideal.

This is an exeptional price for a matchine that is far better made and with more features than price similar models from other outlets at this time of year. Impressed would have bought one if I hadent spent so much trying to get one of its competitors close to being the same speck.
