This photoelectric sensor is from the XUK0A general purpose series. This industry leading sensor is a high quality device that features a compact design and high build quality that make it ideal for use in industrial applications.
The sensor features a time delay facility that enables simple automation systems to be designed. There are three types of time delay:
ON - time delay comes on beam make
OFF - Time delay comes on beam break
Monostable - one shot delay
The multimode sensor has the facility to automatically change its operating configuration according to the required application, at just a press of the teach button. The sensor can operate in one of four modes:
IR Thru-beam
IR Diffuse
IR Diffuse with background suppression
Polarised reflex
The thru-beam mode will require the IT Thru-Beam Transmitter (
65-8601), and to use the polarised reflex mode a suitable reflector is required.
