100,000 products now available for Rapid customers

Rapid has announced that 100,000 products are now available on its website for the first time.

This target has been reached due to a period of significant growth for the Colchester-based company. Since becoming part of the Conrad Group in late 2012, Rapid has focused on increasing its product offering. Working closely with its European partner, Rapid has vastly expanded its electronic, electrical and e-mech ranges, and signed distribution agreements with major suppliers.

For example, comprehensive ranges of Wago terminal blocks is a recent addition to the Rapid online and offline catalogue.

Among the new brands that the company can now offer customers include Cherry switches, Gossen Metrawatt test equipment, Würth Elektronik induction components, Amphenol, Conec and Lumberg connectors, ATSemitec sensors and Crydom relays.

"My team has worked incredibly hard sourcing these new lines and ensuring they are competitively priced. Although we have nearly doubled our product catalogue in less than two years, we are committed to further increasing our stockholding and delivering even greater choice for our customers."
