Really nice soldering station
Reviewed by: Christian W. - Tuesday, September 6, 2016Already while unpacking the product I was positively surprised: the soldering station has a visually pleasing design and is high quality product.
The handpiece (with a long-lasting 4-fold wound heating element) is very lightweight and ergonomically designed, which is in my opinion very important during prolonged use.
The soldering station consists of a main switch, a well readable LCD display and logically built up operating elements. For the buttons 1 - 3 predefined temperature values for the different application areas are deposited, which but changeable and programmable with the plus and minus buttons.
The spacious adjustable range for the set temperature is between 150 ° C and 480 ° C furthermore, the soldering station is very fast on operating temperature (< 30 sec.).
I used the soldering station for various soldering operations on a heating controller besides, I also had to extend a few cables with a solder joint.
The Atten St-80 soldering station has mastered all tasks in all different temperature ranges and with different soldering tips brilliantly - a real allrounder.
A positive note is the wide range of inexpensive soldering tips which can be changed by solving a shell in the shaft of the hand piece simply and quickly.
Further advantages of this soldering station are adjustable standby times, switch off times, a temperature calibration function and a manually switching possibility of the temperature display in ° C and ° F.
All in all this is an inexpensive top product, which fulfills its function completely from the beginner up to the professional.
