Q. What is the maximum diameter hole the drill can cope with comfortably? I'm looking to drill 35mm holes using a forstner bit in hardwood. Cheers
A. Hi Stephen, thank you for your question. This drill will take a maximum 13mm shank and a max drilling diameter of 40mm in wood.

Q. What is maximum vertical distance between chuck and base plate ? Can drill rotation be reversed ? Thank you
A. Hi Nigel, thank you for your question. It cannot be reversed unfortunately. The highest vertical distance is 285mm which leaves room for a drill but up to a max length of 200mm.
