These high quality jumper wires come in a strip of 40 with four pieces of each of ten colours. They have 0.1in female sockets on either end and fit cleanly next to each other on a standard pitch (2.54mm) header. You can always pull the ribbon wires off to make individual jumpers, or keep them together to make neatly organised wire harnesses.
Q. What is the pitch of the ribbon cable used for these? Could I split them in two and fit standard IDC headers to the cable?
A. Hi Stephen, thank you for your question. These can be split down or used with standard 2.54mm headers, the pitch between the wires is 1.6mm.

Prefect For Rasberry Pi / Arduino Dev Boards

Bought two packs of these, one M-M and one F-F to use as link wires between a Raspberry Pi and a circuit board. These are designed for extra low voltage, low current applications such as RasPi or Arduino input/output pins. Rapid haven't uploaded a datasheet for these so I can't give the voltage/current ratings here.
Regardless, these are great for driving low current LED's, switching transistors, I2C/SPI communication with breakout boards ect. They have a 2.54mm pitch making them ideal for the RasPi/Arduino headers and for breadboards. They come as a single flat ribbon cable like bundle and each wire has its own single plug or socket (see picture). Carefully pull the wires needed from bundle, pull each part away evenly so you don’t damage the insulation. The male pins are approximately 6mm long and the female socket allows the male pins to connect into them so you can join multiple wires together if needed.
You can use these as PCB interconnects if you want but bear in mind that these have no locking system on them so they will disconnect with a small amount of force, these just rely on pin friction.
In summary; A great product and a must have for any electronics hobbyist or engineer alike. Ideal for fast proto-typing and testing.
