The Deep Robotics Lite3 JY Robotic Dogs are an advanced bionic quadruped. These robots boast superior driving power, cutting-edge precision-focused algorithms, enhanced environmental interaction features, and a multitude of expansion modules.
With an industry-level control system, these bots host a deeply optimised version of the kernel operating program, providing a high level of computing power. The algorithm used in the software of these robots assists in achieving boosted manoeuvrability, allowing the robot to overcome obstacles, climb stairs, and even perform some acrobatic tricks.
The Lite3V Venture utilises two ultrasonic radars and a wide-angle camera to navigate its environment and avoid obstacles from its front or back. These sensors are also designed to allow for precise identifying and tracking of objects or humans, providing the robot with a following path. The Lite3P Pro utilises the sensors included in the Venture along with a depth camera to determine the distance between itself and a target for a higher level of precision.
The most advanced iteration of the Lite 3 robot, the Lite3L is fitted with a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) module, enabling it to autonomously interact with and navigate its environment. The LiDAR's accurate ability to determine ranges by targeting a surface with a laser and measuring the time for the reflected light to return to the receiver is carefully utilised by the robot to deliver accuracy and exploration independence using techniques such as Three Dimensional Simultaneous Localisation and Map Construction (3D Slam). This technique enables autonomous devices to map out unfamiliar environments whilst keeping track of their location within the environment.
