Reviewed by: William - Sunday, March 2, 2025There is no point in buying cheaply made unbranded RCA sockets online, when the yellow metal plating is unlikely 'gold' at all.
Therefore, when you buy Rean from large Swiss mfr. Neutrik, you are guaranteed that the gold plating is genuine, pure and thick enough to withstand its intend long term use.
Widely used in studios, Rean and Neutrik are the most well known and trusted brands of audio connectors throughout the recording industry, therefore the industry standard. As an Electronics Engineer with experience in Sound Engineering, I would not waste money on fancy Hi-Fi brands of connectors which you don't find in recording or broadcasting studios, where there is a huge budget and quality is critical.
