I have used hundreds of the red led's in specially designed rear/brake light assemblies for vintage cars using a 6V electrical systems to replace inefficient bulbs. Brilliant and reliable.

I have used hundreds of these LEDs for projects building 7 segment displays for cricket scoreboards. They have excellent brightness and are much easier to view in bright light than traditional yellow LEDs.
