The Vigortronix VTX-214-010-224 is an AC-DC 10W Single Output Miniature Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) that has been designed for applications where space is limited, thanks to the encapsulated design of the module which boasts over power, over current and short circuit protection.

This very small 24.0V DC, 70g PCB mounted SMPS is not only cost-effective, but also boasts a host of features, such as 3600Vrms primary to secondary isolation, low standby power (<0.3W), -25°C to +50°C operating temperature (full load), low ripple and noise and >75% efficiency.

Q. Because is says that the input voltage can be between 90 - 265 volts, can it be wired to a plug and feed directly from a socket.
A. Hi Tristan, thank you for your question. These would be used in a mains transformer so this can be done, but the wiring should be encased for safety reasons.
