Seeed 101020056 Grove - Gas Sensor for LPG and Natural Gas (MQ5)

The Grove Gas Sensor from Seeed Studio can detect a variety of gases including hydrogen, LPG, methane, carbon monoxide and alcohol. Its output is an analogue voltage which can be read by a microcontroller with a spare ADC input and matching supply voltage. The manufacturer's datasheet (available online) has a conversion chart for determining gas concentration given the sensor's reading. Please note that the best preheat time for the sensor is above 24 hours.
