A 5cm (2 inch) full-range speaker with a special basket design featuring two fixing lugs. The Visaton FRS 5 is suitable as a medium-range driver in speaker systems for Hi-Fi and background music and for 100V PA systems. Thanks to the slim construction, it is also suitable as a control speaker in electronic devices.

Typical applications include very narrow network column speakers, control speaker for electronic devices, model construction, and electronic musical instruments.

Q. I'm looking in to the prospects of building simple micro amps for guitars, would this speaker unit function correctly from a 9 volt battery power source?
