Q. Please can you confirm if I could use this to seal the ends of satin ribbon to stop them from fraying?

A. Hi Michele, thanks for your question.
This tool can be used, it is much the same as a thread burner (designed for the ends of ribbon) but will do the same job. It is just a little more powerful than a thread burner .
