The can is shipped with a plastic safety ring located under the spray button to prevent accidental use. This must be removed with a flat-headed screwdriver before use.

A. Hi Keith, thank you for your question. This paint is heat resistant to 110 degrees so it depends on where it is exactly being used. A better range of high temperature paints are available here.
