Not bad piece of kit

This can be corrected by removing it and attacking it with a large pair of pliers, then wedging it back in. Other than that, nice solid stand, doesn't melt, stays put and keeps the iron cool. I threw the sponge away, preferring brass wool cleaners but a roll of solder conveniently sits on its side nicely where the sponge was and spools freely.
