Q. hi I have an electric gate bolt with its own power supply 24v via transformer from 230v. It is supposed to run on a relay from the warning light circuit which is supposed to be a continuous 12 or 24v supplying a bulb. In actuality the warning circuit puts out 12v in a flashing pattern about 1 sec on and 1 sec off. If the delay was set to say 3 seconds would the delay power off function in this product convert the intermittent signal to continuous to keep the bolt powered/raised while the warning circuit is on and the gate opens? The gate takes about 30 seconds to open and ideally I want the bolt circuit to power down a few seconds after the gate closes and the warning circuit switches off (rather then setting the delay to say 40 seconds ) thanks for advice
A. Hi Chris, thank you for your question. The timer has an input range of 12-240V DC/AC so you can either tun this from from the 24V or from the mains directly. The data sheet for the time can be found here.

Q. Is this suitable for SELV applications? (I have a 12v switch in shower-room, and want a DIN-mounted relay to switch 220v fan)
A. Hi David, thank you for your question. The unit is rated at 12-240 AC/DC applications but has no low voltage protection as such stated from the manufacturer.
