The FLIR TG130 Spot Thermal Camera provides an economical way to bring infrared into the everyday world. With one button simplicity and a quick start up time, the TG130 is ready at hand to find simple energy leaks, check temperatures on electrical or heating appliances, or even just to see the family dog in a whole new light. A centre crosshair will pinpoint the measurement area, while the screen will display the temperature of the object in real time.
The TG130 is built around the FLIR Lepton Core, providing an imaging resolution of 80 x 60, for a total of 4800 pixels. The thermal detector can view and measure temperatures from -10°C to +150°C (+14°F to +302°F) a surprisingly wide span for such an economically priced thermal camera.
It can sense temperature differences as small as 0.1°C, creating an image that has the variation necessary to detect patterns of overheating, water leakage, or hidden pipes and studs in walls.
The image on screen can be frozen temporarily by squeezing the trigger. Because simplicity and economy are the goals of the TG130 thermal camera, the unit is unable to record or store images and video as other cameras can.
The TG130 is wonderfully small, light, and rugged and has an excellent build quality.
