Q. What material is the microphone body made out of?
Is the lead XLR detachable and can it be used in a balanced configuration?
A. Thanks for your enquiry Andy. This is a much higher impedance of 600 Ohms and only has a stereo jack connector so not balanced. We aren't sure what material the product is made from.

Use in Balanced Config
Reviewed by: Eirianfa Productions - Saturday, September 27, 2014This mic can be used in balanced config with some re-wiring of the xlr connector- obviously this would void the warranty. The mic output is low so would need an ultra low noise preamp. You can use this mic to get you out of trouble, but better off buying a professional item for critical applications
