The Light Stitches Flower LED Pencil Case Kit is a KS3 textile and electronics project that uses smart textiles and electronic components to create a flashing LED pencil case.
The pencil case uses 2 flashing green LEDs for a visual display. The LED is activated when the metal zip is closed (Zip acts as a switch turning the LED ON/OFF).
- Includes all components and materials to make one flashing green LED pencil case
- Free downloadable instruction booklet includes all the printable resources needed for lessons
- Due to this NEW smart material (conductive thread) connections can now be produced by a simple knot or sewing around the LEDs (Lights)

Reviewed by: H Graham - Monday, July 13, 2015There were items mentioned in the instructions which were not included in the kit e.g. no self adhesive hook and loop tape, no flower templates. The piece of thread was too short to complete this item.
The instructions were rather confusing to follow and the pictures were unclear.
I was disappointed with this kit
