Microchip DM163022-1 PICDEM 2 Plus

The PICDEM 2 Plus board has been designed to demonstrate the capabilities of Microchip's 18-, 28-, and 40-pin 8-bit microcontrollers, i.e. PIC16Fxxx, PIC16F1xxx and PIC18 devices. It is possible to use the board as a stand alone demonstration board with a programmed part or, alternatively, it can be used with an in-circuit emulator or and in-circuit programmer/debugger. Sample programs are provided in order to demonstrate features of the target device.

Some of the features of the board include: 18-, 28-, and 40-pin sockets,on-board +5V regulator, RS-232 socket and associated hardware, ICD connector, 5kΩ pot for devices with analog inputs, 3x pushbutton switches, power and status LEDs, 4MHz xtal oscillator, 32.768kHz timer xtal, 32K x 8 serial EEPROM, LCD display, piezo buzzer, thermal sensor, prototype area.
